We’ve popped in a handful of times now and each time Cam has gone out of his way to make us feel at home, bringing drinks over and being genuinely friendly and helpful throughout. Really made our visits enjoyable, thank you!
My dad, brother and I come here fairly regularly and always enjoy the range of games and slot machines on offer. Definitely worth checking out.
Cam took great care of me and my other half while we enjoyed a few drinks, recommending both drinks and food for us to try during our visit, and we were more than happy to take him up on it to make the most of our trip over from Liverpool. My first time back in over five years, and unfortunately it’ll be my last. The team on the floor were polite and welcoming, so we thought we’d grab a bite to eat – big mistake. One burger and one chicken burger took a full 45 minutes to turn up, even though barely anyone else was ordering food. When it finally arrived, the chips were cold and bland, the chicken burger was just about edible, but the beef one was a joke. To make up for the wait we were given complimentary drinks, and the bar staff couldn’t have been nicer about it. Sadly the venue itself feels flat, more like an amusement arcade than a proper casino. Only worth a visit if you’re really stuck for somewhere to go.
This felt more like an amusement arcade than an actual casino, with entertainment on par with a cheap comedy sketch show. The food was closer to a motorway service station than proper dining, and while most of the floor staff were pleasant enough, the managers really need a refresher on customer care. There’s one bald manager in particular who only seems bothered about squeezing money out of punters and treats his own colleagues with a bit of disdain. I always assumed a casino would have proper poker, but here there’s just two dealers – one on blackjack, one on roulette – and the rest is wall to wall machines, which really kills any sense of atmosphere. Whoever chose that carpet needs their eyes tested too. The whole place is crying out for a refurb, it looks tired and outdated, and the toilets are pretty grim.
