Really approachable staff, nice vibe and loads to play. Drinks deals are decent and soft drinks are on the house while you’re playing.
Only tried the food while I was there and it was genuinely tasty and fairly priced. Knocking off one star purely because I didn’t get a proper look around the rest of the place.
The security on the door act like bullies, cornering people in the loos, and there’s one particularly unpleasant chap on staff who fancies himself as tough and threatened to chuck me out unless I handed over anything I had on me, despite catching him doing exactly that himself in the toilets moments earlier. One of the women on the security team has apparently been involved with several colleagues, including someone in management and most of the door team.
Spent two nights at this branch and the team couldn’t do enough for us, big thanks to a couple of them who tried sorting out a machine that wasn’t working properly. Prefer it here over the rival venue across town, we’re members at both. Down visiting relatives for the weekend from further south.
Genuinely had a brilliant time at this venue and the team were absolutely top notch, especially one of the ladies on the front desk who was chatty, warm and made everyone feel so welcome. The dealers deserve a mention too, a bearded fella and a couple of others, all brilliant at what they do, I’ve rarely come across dealers that good. Their easy-going manner puts every guest at ease. Couldn’t have asked for a better visit.
