Been to plenty of casinos and honestly any table will do for the game itself — it’s the people that make the difference. This lot make you feel like a regular from day one. Winning’s nice, losing’s part of it, but either way the experience here beats the other local options by a distance.
Leah behind the bar was superb — the cocktails were excellent and the service was warm throughout. Staff across the board made sure everyone understood how the games worked without being patronising about it. Felt looked after the entire evening. Really professional setup.
Not enough space in the slots section and what little there is gets taken over. A couple of regulars were completely taking over — shoes on seats, stretching across machines, eating all over the place. Staff just let it happen. Didn’t see a manager anywhere near that area the whole time. Food server came round but that was about it. Not a comfortable environment.
Works well as a late stop after a night out — relaxed enough most of the time. Weekends can get a bit rough around the edges though given what’s nearby, and that does change the vibe noticeably. Still, the majority of people in there are there to play, so it sorts itself out eventually.
Mum’s birthday plans fell apart at the last minute so we ended up here on a whim. The way the staff treated her was honestly extraordinary — so much warmth and genuine kindness, and they went out of their way to make her feel properly celebrated. You don’t expect that level of personal care from a casino. Can’t speak highly enough of the people there and the company for giving them the freedom to just be human about it. Incredible. Been loyal to another local place for nearly a decade but popped in here a few times out of curiosity. Last visit completely changed my mind — and it wasn’t just the result at the tables, though that helped. Every single croupier was on brilliant form, the whole team had great energy, and the atmosphere was genuinely enjoyable from start to finish. That combination is rarer than it should be.
