We’ve eaten at the restaurant here on numerous occasions and it’s always been faultless, wonderful quality dishes every time. Absolutely the spot to go for a special occasion🥰
Took my wife along yesterday to celebrate her birthday. She’d never set foot in a venue like this before and wasn’t fully sure how everything worked. We ended up at the Blackjack table and luckily our dealer Liam was fantastic, walked her through the basics and kept offering little tips throughout to help her get the hang of things. Really great time overall and just wanted to give a shoutout to Liam for the effort he put in to help her feel at ease playing for the first time.
Knocking this down to three stars now. Would’ve stayed higher but they’ve cut poker right back to a single table and I couldn’t get a seat the whole time I was in. Might’ve gone for cash games but without any limits it’s risky for someone who doesn’t play often. Drinks were all great and the team was welcoming, but since poker’s really my thing I’ll probably try somewhere else going forward, though never say never. Did have a bit of a go on blackjack too.
Don’t often bother writing reviews, but the service here deserves a mention. This was among my earlier trips to this venue in Nottingham, and Bailey on the front desk was so warm, helpful and knowledgeable, spent time explaining the current offers to me. Doesn’t happen often that you find service that good nowadays, Bailey really does the place proud. Everything was tidy, welcoming and simple to find your way around. Would happily return next time I’m in the city, easily the stronger of the two venues around.
Massive thanks to the team here, I got caught out late one evening, stuck in town on my own and couldn’t flag a taxi in the pouring rain. The doormen let me come inside to warm up and the team rang for a cab and let me plug my phone in while I waited, making sure I made it home safe. Brilliant lot, really comforting to know as a woman that kindness like that still exists. Also had some really enjoyable evenings there over the years, cheers again Nat.
