Great team here, though why did the complimentary soft drinks stop on match days?
Hands down the top matchday spot in Newcastle! Loved being part of the Derby weekend alongside Shay Given.
This is the finest spot in Newcastle, the manager is lovely and there’s a buffet put on for New Year. You can sit down and play mahjong with mates here too. Aspers has my heart!!!
Nice enough spot, only there about 8 minutes, got a complimentary lemonade as all the soft drinks were on the house, ended up £750 up so cashed out straight away. The team on the cash desk though were quite frosty and standoffish, tried making a bit of conversation asking how their weekend was going and got nothing back, felt like talking to a brick wall honestly. Still, worthwhile trip overall, mainly because I came out ahead.
First visit to Ballys using my mobility scooter. Everyone I dealt with was warm and helpful. This would easily be a full five stars if not for the accessible toilet doors, I had to shove them open myself and needed assistance getting back out. My suggestion would be power-assisted doors with the proper accessible buttons fitted, it would make a real difference. Apart from that, the accessibility here is genuinely excellent. Well done to the whole team.
I have to share the worst customer experience I’ve ever had, and after a quick look I saw others reporting the same thing about this one staff member, Ashley. I’ve never been treated like that as a paying customer, and he’s meant to be in a customer facing role? That’s concerning, and it seems to keep happening without anyone stepping in. It was my first time in a casino and he made me feel deeply uncomfortable, attitude, rudeness, like I was beneath him. Being polite costs nothing, yet I felt like a nuisance just for being there. At the cash desk he simply gestured me over without a greeting, and once we’d finished he didn’t say anything, just looked down. I had to ask if it had gone through fine and got no reply, just a nod.
