Wonderful casino – security, reception and the bar were all brilliant. Staff service was excellent throughout.
Lovely atmosphere overall. The manager was really kind and even got me a coffee.
This place used to be the top casino around here, but standards have slipped a lot lately. The bar team currently on shift seem unbothered – if you’re fortunate enough to get served before dying of thirst, they act put out just being asked for a drink. Loads of the better slot games have been removed, leaving mostly the same handful of low-paying machines. And that’s assuming you can even get a seat, since the few regulars in there reserve every machine with cards and staff don’t seem to mind at all.
Truly excellent venue overall – security, the front desk, the gaming floor and the bar area were all top notch. Every member of staff delivered their service with genuine warmth and a smile, an easy ten out of ten from me. Definitely a place I’d point friends toward if they’re after a proper night out with good energy throughout.
Fantastic poker scene here, with skilled dealers and attentive floor staff running things smoothly. Plenty of tournaments alongside cash games to choose from. Would strongly suggest a visit if you’re nearby. Everyone at the tables was welcoming and the banter never stopped. Don’t forget to grab the app before you go. There’s also a fee-free cash machine on site. I’ve been twice now.
Massive shoutout to Ronnie behind the poker table, who was incredibly patient and welcoming while I learned the ropes at my first tournament! The poker room here is genuinely well organised, and the crowd grabbing food nearby added to the vibe. I wish my hometown had tournaments like these! I’m fairly sure I sat at the same table as Rebecca, another reviewer who posted recently! Shame the person who hit the royal flush never got their champagne though!
Being honest, I’m barely giving this venue one star. The payout percentages feel completely rigged! They clearly track your balance and somehow you never come out ahead, meanwhile everyone else nearby keeps winning big. I dropped £340 in a single evening, and yes, that’s on me for staying, but I should’ve walked out with at least half of it back. Won’t be returning, honestly. Save yourselves the trouble!!! Across the full four hours I sat there, nobody ever brought me so much as a drink, despite how much cash I’d poured in. Service was genuinely disappointing.
