Lovely spot overall, with helpful and welcoming staff. Parking is simple and feels safe, with security clearly present and doing regular rounds. The food options are solid too – the burgers are a personal favourite of mine. My main reason for coming back is the daily poker tournaments. Only gripe is that the dealers seem to have it in for me, rarely handing me decent cards on the river….you know who you are 😅
My partner and I popped back in for drinks after not visiting in a while. Quite a bit has changed since then – the dress code has clearly gone, which we clocked right away. Part of me wishes it would come back, since it’s a shame watching people turn up in flip-flops and sliders at the bar. On the plus side, the cocktails remain fantastic and the staff are just as attentive as ever. We ended up having a wonderful night, same as always – just drinks and a chat, no time at the tables.
My experience with Grosvenor Casinos was genuinely awful. They suspended my account out of nowhere, and every time I pushed for a real explanation, all I got was a vague reference to internal rules rather than any honest answer. It’s disappointing that a business claiming to value its customers can be so opaque. Big calls get made about your account and nobody feels obligated to explain themselves. After spending far too long chasing a clear response and getting absolutely nowhere, I can’t in good conscience recommend this place. There are plenty of other venues that treat their customers with more respect.
