Great team and honestly one of the top card rooms anywhere in Britain. Theodor stood out as the best dealer in the room by a mile. The kitchen could do with some work though, that’s the one letdown. Otherwise a brilliant spot, well worth a visit.
Steer clear if poker is your game here. The dealers took far more than they should from every pot. One pot around $160 saw them pull $16 without blinking. Even on a $50 pot, five dollars vanished straight to the rake. Absolute daylight robbery. There’s no chance of coming out ahead in this room. I’d point any serious player toward the Hippodrome instead — their staff are straightforward and hold a far better name in London, deservedly so.
We spent a brilliant evening here recently. Since the makeover, the whole space feels sleek, contemporary and welcoming. Our group had a wonderful time playing roulette, and the dishes, put together by the resident chef, were absolutely on point — beautifully plated and full of flavour from start to finish. It’s a superb casino outing right in central London’s heart. Whether you’re bringing clients, meeting friends for the evening or hoping for a bit of luck, I’d happily recommend it.
