Our group came in once work had finished, hoping to have a few drinks, and the service was dreadful. The servers seemed nowhere around whenever another round was needed and were barely visible across the floor either. When we finally dealt with them, the attitude was awful. I also work in hospitality, so I understand exhausting shifts, but every person serving us seemed irritated and rude. We had earlier been told food was available all night, yet one server simply answered “no”. It was about 4am, but being tired does not excuse speaking to customers that way. Our glasses were not properly filled either, which felt like poor value. The bar itself was sticky, stained and generally grubby.

Free parking and the refurbishment made this a brilliant night for gambling and socialising! The sports lounge is excellent, while the smokers’ terrace has machines too. Entry is through an electronic gaming level, with around sixteen live tables upstairs and a similar number of roulette terminals. Coffee and soft-drink machines are on each level. Staff were fantastic, hospitality was strong, and the food and drink choice was broad. This is now my regular spot after another nearby casino disappointed me.

Probably the strongest casino I’ve tried, and I have visited quite a few. There is a broad choice of games with plenty of tables, although seats can be hard to find when it gets busy, so quieter times are better. Dealers were polite and very helpful. My one complaint is the lack of waiting staff. A dealer called someone over for me, but after more than an hour nobody arrived, so in the end I went and got the drink myself.
