Starter was lovely but the main course wasn’t quite there, the steak lacked seasoning and the mash was a bit overcooked. Felt a shame since it was his birthday meal, could’ve been a nicer plate.
Met up with pals for a meal off the dine-in evening menu. The dishes were the usual excellent standard, with plenty of choice on offer. Service was top notch throughout, and we all had a brilliant time.
Honestly one of the top spots for a meal in Hull! Their three course dine-in package is fantastic value. Everything is cooked to a high standard and the steak was hands down the tastiest I’ve had. The team are always so warm, plus you get a free drink and a fiver towards the tables thrown in. Been back several times now and each visit the whole party has left full and happy. Would tell anyone to try it!
Easily the poorest experience I’ve had here. From the second I arrived the staff were shockingly impolite, sighing and rolling their eyes whenever a question came up. There was no warmth at all, the mood felt tense, and what should’ve been a fun night turned into something stressful. I won’t be returning and I’d advise anyone else to steer clear.
The team here never fails to impress, from the servers to the whole catering crew. There’s a genuinely classy feel to the dining room, with attentive staff who are warm and easy to chat with. Massive thanks for looking after us so well! I’ve dined here several times over the Christmas season and the fine dining menu has been consistently brilliant. The bar and late-night food options are also a great shout, generous portions at a fair price.
