I had spent roughly an hour walking through town on what had been the hottest day so far this year, so by the time I reached the entrance I was sweating. I caught a poorly marked step and stumbled, which made the doorman decide I had been drinking. Reception then refused me entry. Accusing somebody of intoxication without any meaningful evidence is unacceptable, so they lost my custom. Instead, I went across to Genting for a few hours and afterwards had a very enjoyable drive home.

My evening at Grosvenor Bournemouth was fantastic. Every part of the meal tasted excellent, from the opening course right through dessert, and everything seemed prepared with real care. The cocktail drinks were superb too, rich in flavour and nicely presented. Everyone serving us was warm and attentive, while management kept the welcome going throughout. Gaming was equally enjoyable — exciting, lively and organised properly. Altogether it made for a superb night of eating, drinking and entertainment. I’m already keen to return.

We chose Grosvenor Bournemouth for our work Christmas celebration and had a fantastic evening. The team led by Alexia handled everything brilliantly. Food and drink packages were pre-arranged and delivered exactly as expected. We also had an introduction to roulette and a chance to try it ourselves, which added to the fun. Everything ran smoothly, everyone enjoyed it. We’d happily recommend the venue.

Quite small, with limited games but the essentials.
