Pleasantly surprised by the size once you’re inside. Good selection of slots and table games, decent bar, friendly staff. Didn’t get offered drinks on the floor which some places do, but that’s a minor thing. Would go back.
Popped in during the afternoon and it was very quiet. The roulette tables weren’t running until later in the day which was a bit disappointing — would’ve been good to know in advance. Staff were pleasant though, no complaints on that front.
Lower stakes than the casinos nearer home which suited me perfectly — less pressure, more enjoyment. Ended up a fair bit up on the night which obviously helped the mood. Staff were helpful and friendly throughout, bar service was prompt, and the place was clean and well kept. Regularly up in the area so will definitely be making this a regular stop.
Everyone from the door through to the cash desk was brilliant — that kind of consistency across a whole team isn’t something you come across all that often. One lady in particular always serves with a smile, gets things done quickly, and has great banter with the regulars. You can tell they all actually enjoy being there, which comes through in the whole atmosphere. My go-to spot when I’m in the area and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a good night out. 😀
